These first 2 colour pictures were taken by Peter Skinner showing how the quarry looked in the 1960s. The 3rd is in 1973

This much older picture

There is some uncertainty about the next two pictures but are said to be of Stoneycroft. They came into the possession of the owner (R G Cash) 30 years ago. Some features which also appear to be on the Tarmac collection pictures suggest it could be Middlepeak quarry.

The next picture appears on the interpretation panel displayed in the filled, landscaped and renamed quarry now called Stoney Wood.
