Saturday saw an early start with a wondrous machine arriving to dispense runny cement into the bases for the new loco shed.

Unlike the usual ready mix vehicle with its rotating drum, this machine mixes the stuff on site and delivers only the exact quantity required

Because the machine could not get close to the site, the cement was first directed into the bucket of the excavator

Then the grey stuff was transferred to the road/rail dumper

Then the dumper drove to the specially fabricated chute
